Specialised Strategic Innovation Committees (CEIEs)
The Valencian Innovation Agency (AVI) promotes a systemic and effective dialogue between scientific specialists in a specific area of knowledge and technologists, companies, and public administrations, with the aim that what is produced or the service provided has a real need on which the work of all the components of the Valencian Innovation System (SVI) is based. The ultimate goal is for the innovations and technologies resulting from the coordinated participation of all SVI agents to be incorporated by both companies and the administration itself, thus injecting added value into different economic activities.
The specialized groups of the Strategic Innovation Committee (Comités Estratégicos de Innovación Especializados - CEIE) contribute to providing solutions to the major challenges of the productive fabric with innovative technological solutions. In addition to identifying R+D+I opportunities, the working teams, composed of representatives from the scientific, business, and technological community, must identify the SVI agents qualified for their development, define the necessary actions for their implementation within companies, and propose innovation policy tools and incentives to maximize their impact.
