The 35th edition of the annual IEEE International Symposium on Personal, Indoor and Mobile Radio Communications (PIMRC) will be held in Valencia, Spain. The symposium has become one of the two major conferences of the IEEE Communications Society (ComSoc) in the field of wireless communications and networking. Originally founded as a workshop in London in 1989, it developed over the years to become a major international conference, attracting technical communities from all regions and continents. After two successful editions in Asia and America, the 2024 edition returns to Europe, and will be held in face-to-face format. PIMRC 2024 will assemble worldwide experts to deliver keynotes, tutorials, workshops, industry panels, and high-quality technical sessions.

¡Don’t miss the upcoming INNOTRANSFER conference on Resilient Telecommunications in Emergencies, featuring the Institute of Telecommunications and Multimedia Applications (iTEAM)!

The Innotransfer conference will address how telecommunications ensure security and coordination in crisis situations and will present innovative solutions from leading companies and research groups. Leading companies such as Vodafone and Telefónica will participate, along with expert research groups from the UPV and other entities in the Valencian Community.


In addition, the Workshop on Integration of Terrestrial and Non-terrestrial Networks for Aerial and Ground Wireless Connectivity will take place consecutively, organized within the framework of the iTENTE project (CIDEGENT 2022, Plan GENT) by Distinguished Researcher David López from iTEAM. This meeting will bring together internationally renowned speakers, who will share the latest advances and trends in the integration of terrestrial and non-terrestrial networks, with a special focus on aerial and terrestrial wireless connectivity.
